MultiTouch opens its new headquarters facility. It is located in the historic former Ford Motor Company building on the Helsinki harborside. The 20,000-square foot building features 45 foot ceilings with full windows, and a massive first-floor design and research area. The second floor features a portal-styled corridor for executive offices and briefing rooms, as well as a custom-configured showroom for clients. A 3,000-square foot sound stage is also available for staging installations and developing new concepts for multitouch wall designs.
MultiTouch will also hold its first annual global partner summit today in its new showroom, which is the world’s largest multitouch display showcase facility, with fifteen demonstration areas.
