MultiTouch reads 2D bar codes

MultiTouch Cornerstone computer vision now recognizes 2D bar codes set on the MultiTouch Cell, a Full HD LCD.

With these fiducial markers, users can create natural relationships between physical objects and the application. For instance, they can place a product sample on the display to start the application. Personalized bar codes can be used to identify individual users.
